We just had major 100k check up done including the timing system. We picked up the car and took off immediately on a 200 mile trip. The car ran fine for most of the way until it just shut down once we exited near the end of the trip. We managed to get it off the access road. waited a while and got it restarted. It shut down twice again before we could finish the trip. We are told that the problem could be a fuel pump--this was NOT part of the maintenance package that was done. My guess is that this has something to do with the timing system work that was done--belt, tensioner, pulleys, water pump etc. What do you think caused this problem? Need help soon.
