1997 Toyota 4Runner light headed

Good Morning,

when I drive my 4 runner for any distance, even as little as 5-10 miles, when I get out or when I drive longer I become very light headed and even some stomach aches at times. I do not smell any kind of odor though. I've taken it in twice and the mechanic says he can't find anyhting but I don't think he took it out for a good ride. Or he would definately get the feeling. I'm very hesitant to dive it for fear of some kind of carbon monoxide issue.

any thoughts?

I have the same problem with my 1996 grand prix. I've taken it to Midas a couple of times and they tell me there is no exhaust leak. In my car its actually worse if I drive with the windows open. I've gone to great lenghts to figure this problem out and I don't have an answer. Someone told me it could be that the catalytic converter has gotten blugged up and its forcing exhuast back through the sytem.
