Clear the code and drive the car. Can you fell a miss fire? Will it miss under load? Re check for code if gone all is well, if re set and you cannot feel any driveability problem, there may be a problem with the ECU qiving a fauls code. Often there are test units that you can use for a small fee to prove if there is a problem, your mechanic should be aware of the option.
