My car jerks a lot first thing in the morning (only in the morning). I had the clutch looked at and their wasn't a problem. It usually when its real cold but it will jerk until it's warm or I'm around 70 mph. I haven't had my fuel filter replaced in a long time. Could it be a fuel problem? But again, it only happens first thing in the morning and only if it's cold out.

Hi kravsteve, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

Jerking, Hesistating and Surging could be caused by the following:

Oxygen sensors.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

If it doesn't apply disregard it
