1995 Toyota 4Runner 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive

hi i was driving my 95 4 runner when it all of a sudden came to a stop i found out the fuel pump inst kicking on but i tried to hook a inline fuel pump up and a fuel pump out of a jeep cheriokie wouldnt make it run i did dump gas down the intake and it fires rate up what could be the issue y it wouldnt run off either of thos fuel pumps

It depends on the fuel pressure requirements-Try this in the check engine connector jumper batt to Fp and see what happens if the pump will come on-
