1994 Toyota 4Runner Set time

Hi I have 94 Toyota 4runner 6 Cy try to set the timing on (10deg) but the truck run no power do I need to conect or disconeted someting to get right timimg ?
I see The label on the hood only say run on idle and 10 Deg.

You need to jumper the Te-1 and E-1 in the diagnostic check connector then check it- if its not on 10deg BTDC adjust it and then remove the jumper and you're done
