1993 Toyota 4Runner Car will not stay on

I've got a 1993 Toyota 4runner with 195,000 miles. I can turn the car on just fine and it fires up just like normal. However, after it is running for about 10 or 15 seconds, it slowly starts to die. Does this sound like it just needs a new fuel filter, I've never replaced it. Or does it sound like the fuel pump is going out. Or something entirely different that I haven't thought of yet?
