Trouble code 51 came up in my wifes 4runner i just don't know where to start trouble shooting with a code that broad any help as to a process of elimination would be greatly appreciated. Explain reasoning as to why? Thanks !

DTC 51 Switch signal -I will test the throttle position sensor 1st and then check the AC switch circuit/signal as indicated in the repair manual-
