1990 Toyota 4Runner radiator fan

1990 TOYOTA 4RUNNER
160,000 MILES • V8 • 4WD • AUTOMATIC

After driving in Utah for a while, when we shut down the engine, the fan continues to run, and run, and run, and run.

We cooled the car down and let it be for an hour. The fan is still running and the car is still turned off.

Hi Cheryl Pigott,

Check for

1. Stuck fan relay
2. Faulty fan thermoswitch
3. Broken or disconnected fan thermoswitch wire.
