Engine Cooling problem
1987 Toyota 4Runner 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
When I'm driving things seem to go ok but as soon as I stop and turn off the truck it starts to dump coolant and water, I have changed the hoses on radiator. It doesn't seem to becoming from the radiator. What do you suggest it might be.

Hi there,

The coolant will be coming from the overflow system, i would be checking the thermostat and having the radiator flushed & flow tested as the system is overheating due to heat sink, this is because the system is running warmer than it should and with out the circulating of the coolant when the engine is stopped the heat sink effect is causing the boiling to take place.
