I have a 1985 toyota 4runner efi. When I turn the key, it will start and then die. If you give it a little bit of throttle it will start run funny and then die. I replaced mass air flow sensor, all temp sensors, cold start injector, ignitor coil, plugs and wires, cap and rotor. What is wrong with it?

Hi there,

have you checked fuel flow & pressure, how old is the fuel filter, have you check for any set fault codes in the ECU?

Fuel flow is fine, and the filter is brand new. And I am not sure how to check the codes.

You will need to get a scanner hooked up to read the codes,

You can't second guess these problems, you must do the diagnosis step by step or you will miss something and this can cost a time and money, do the scan first.
