I recently had my vehicle detailed. When I got it back my touchscreen goes white when I start it. Radio works and steering wheel controls work as well as the disk player but the screen is white. Any idea what I can do? Does it need completely replaced?

Hi,

I would think that this needs replacement but just make sure it is not stuck in the color bar check mode. If it stays white all the time then I would try disconnecting the battery and touch the cables together. This is called a battery discharge and will reset the modules. Maybe doing this will reset the radio. Reason is, I have not heard of them going completely white except for during this test. As you see the entire screen will go the color selected which is what yours is doing. Hopefully resetting the radio will cure this.

Let me know what happens.
