The top seat flip lever on the passenger side will not work, feels as if loose. Saw the diagrams you posted for another user, was just wondering if you could explain the procedure with a little more detail. Please and thank you.

Hi,

First, take a look at pic 1 to confirm I have the right lever. If it is, that lever is held on with a small, steel, horseshoe retainer clip.

Because the lever is made of plastic, it isn't uncommon for the teeth to wear out and the lever to become loose and not actuate the seat.

Pic 2 below shows the clip I mentioned. Pic 3 shows an exploded view of the release. When you lift the handle, the seat is released on each side before the seat will move.

Let me know if this helps. Also, let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
