Getting too much fuel pressure with my truck. Have put in new fuel pump and damper. Starts and idles fine its only when I start to drive it that I am getting too much fuel pressure. Have not been able to perform a fuel pressure test. I have not done much mechanical work. I actually had a friend helping so far and hoping someone can tell me what the problem might be.

What is the symptom that makes you think the fuel pressure is too high? How can you tell if you have not measured it?
