I assume you ran over the log with your tires? If so when you changed the tire, did they do what is called a road force balance? This checks the tire and wheel for being out of round.
I suspect if the tire is new that you damaged the wheel as well. If it was large enough of a log you could have an issue in the suspension as well.
However, the feeling of a lump on the tire is normally caused by a tire/wheel issue.
