is the ground for the radiator cooling fan straight battery negative? i replaced the radiator cooling fan that was fried with a new one and the car didn't overheat until yesterday. the coolant temperature sensor hasn't been replaced yet. i took it by the shop and the mechanic said he couldn't force the radiator cooling fan on with his computer. the relay works with jumper wires + & - applied to the coil
the diagram y'all gave me shows the ground for the relay terminal #85 goes to #2 tipm and #85 to #4 tipm.
is #2 & #4 tipm battery ground?

So, like I say there is only 4 wires for the 2007 radiator fan motor and not relay, just the TIPM, the ground goes to the right front fender. Please go over the wiring diagrams to see how the system works.
