Was running and just stopped, on warning, it tried to start when I tried it this morning but didn't, I changed the plugs because I new thay been in for a long time I checked the wiring to diagram it was correct, when I tried to start it it backed fired loud and still want start, did it jump Timming?

Hard to say on this one, check compression if all cylinders are very low then ya it did or check dist cap wher e#1 is and where balancer lines p when you bring #1 on compression.
