Second timing belt replacement on my vehicle listed above four door. The last person who changed the timing belt put white paint on the pulleys. Both white paint marks have a manufacturer stamp E under the paint. These marks do not line up in any way right now, the pulley on the left is at about 5 o'clock and the pulley on the right has a paint mark on about 11 o'clock before I take off the timing belt, am I supposed to line those up and how? I already took the alternator belt off before loosening any bolts, I think I did that wrong. I heard not to move the pulleys after the belt is off so I have to get this right. Thank you for your time and help.

Hey DOOFER,

I have attached the instructions for this repair.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask.

It is important to get the timing correct before starting the engine. Please ask as much as you need so you are confident you have it right.

Hope that helps.

Regards, Joe
