I don’t have the time required or suitable work area to do this myself so I am hoping you can tell me what I should look for in a shop to make sure the job is done correctly and thoroughly. I’ve been quoted a price of between 4 and 5k from a local shop in the Jacksonville, Fl area. Thanks in advance.

So you are installing a rebuilt engine, correct? I would use a ATK engine and have a shop install it, I have had good luck with those engines.
