Replacing the timing belt, and the crank?

Replacing the timing belt, and the crank and front cam are at TDC, but rear cam is sitting about 20 to 30 degrees forward. What could cause this, and how to fix it?

It sounds like the belt has jumped which is common. here is how to align the timing belt marks and replace the belt. You will need to reset the timing belt tensioner; the instructions are in the images below. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

It's running, but really rough. The whole van is trembling at low RPMs, but runs fine at high RPMs. Stopped in park, it tries to die out. What would cause this? Hubby and I are not mechanics, but we manage most repairs ourselves. This is just been a nightmare to work on.

Do the timing belts line up? If not, the job needs to be redone, so they do. Can you upload a short video of the engine running so I can see what's going on please?

The timing is good, and it is very strange, but it was idling really rough yesterday. I went out to start it today, and now it's idling fine. I'm guessing that it might have been the ECM that was causing the problem. Ever heard of something like that before? I can't explain how, but it seems to have worked itself out.
