Do you have a diagram for the timing indicator tab mounting?

It is under the vehicle and mounts below the harmonic balancer and the timing light has to be used underneath.

Hi,
I looked up the info, and it is showing two different ones. One I suspect is from the top and the other indicates the timing from the top.
I attached both below. Take a look and let me know if that is what you need or if you have other questions.
Take care,
Joe

Yes, I know how it looks but need to know where the two bolts it mounts to are. I am putting a new long block in and forgot where it mounted to. Thanks for your input so far.

Hi Dave, that isn't something that was supplied in a repair manual. There should be only one way the two bolts can fit.
I wish I had a better answer. Without one in front of me, I'm not sure where to find that information.
I'm going to ask the site owner to see if he has any suggestions.

Thanks for the effort. I am probably getting ahead of myself. There is another stamped arm that has matching holes in it and a short screw in the other end that confuses me but, will probably get figured out as I reassemble the new long block. I didn't take enough pictures of the disassembly as I should have. I am 83 years old and have never tackled an engine rebuild in my life but, like challenges. Thanks again.

Dave,
That is excellent that you are doing it. I think you will be able to tell where it will bolt once you get to that point.
If you have any questions relating to the procedures you are about to perform, let me know.
