Timing cover oil Leak?

Do all Toyota/Lexus 2GR engines leak oil eventually at the timing cover and if so, is a car with this engine not worth getting because of the cost to get the leak repaired? Thanks

They get 17.1 hrs to replace the timing cover so it is an involved job.

Front Cover 17.1 hrs@ shop rate (example: $100.00= 1,710.00)

Plus, parts which should be about $300.00 so about 2 g's to fix it, yes, it is common with these engines. But before I did that, I would check the crankcase ventilation system because if it gets clogged up it will force oil out of the timing cover. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
