Crank no start after overheating, changed the head gasket but forgot the timing

My gasket got burnt due to overheating. My mechanic successfully changed the head gasket but forgot the timing. Now he is having an issue with getting the timing right. Car has refused to start but it is cranking. Thanks

This could be problematic, if the timing is off it could bend the intake and exhaust valve when the engine was cranked over. No way to tell now we must retime the engine. Here are the marks so you can see what's going on. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
