Here are the instructions on how to replace the timing and balance shaft chains in the images below, please drain the coolant and disconnect the battery first. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Thank you for the info! Let me start by providing a little more info! Had someone that was more familiar with vehicles than I am, come help me that is until they didn’t show back up! He was doing things that didn’t include pulling engine etc. I am left to finish this job and I’m kind of lost on where to go from here! So far have pulled the radiator, alternator and tensioner pulley, thermostat housing (I think that’s what it is called, and whatever that is above the crankshaft. I’m working on 4.0l sohc engine
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
