How often should I replace timing belt, spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, air filter fuel pump on my 2006 saturn Ion 2. Sometime it have a little miss at Idle and sometime when I start the engine up it will cut of but it will start back up and sometime I may feel a little hesitation under load but not often, where theses parts is located on this car. I don't see them.

It has a timing chain so no service is needed unless it becomes noisey. Spark plugs get changed every 100,000 miles fuel filter I would change every 50,000 miles along with the transmission fluid. Air filter every 30,000 miles unless it isnt too dirty by then. Fuel pump get changed till it fails. It doesnt have spark plug wires it has spark plug boots. If the spark plugs have never been changed I would change them and see how it runs. The fuel filter is back by the fuel tank the spark plugs are under the coil cassette in the middle of the valve cover. The air filter is in the air box by the passenger fender under the hood.
