Hi Guy-I have a brief question does my daughters new used car have a timing belt, and what is the change interval if she does. Also are there any major mechanical (engine or Tranny ) issues with this car?- TSB's or Recalls ect.- Thanks in advance for info.

yes it has a timing belt and you buy a kit for it and it should be replaced at 60k unless in California where it is 105k. the only safety recall is a hydraulic switch for brakes which will not disengage cruise control possibly and brake lights. any dealer can tell you if yours is effected by vin or you can call huyndai at their 800number and ask and give them your vin number. like any car with mileage there are a few tsbs for both but yours has probably been don already
