I need to see if the timing belt is working properly. Need help to locate the camshaft for inspection purposes as this is my first car and I'm learning about cars in general. (So, I have made already a question before about my car in regards with the cylinders not working properly), but I need to see if the camshaft is in good condition, as well as the oil pump, crankshaft and distributor. I would be very thankful if I am provided with instructions /guides on how to check these components; crankshaft, oil pump and distributor. What tools do I need to open the geo and to check these components?

In general, if the engine is not making and clicking or rattling noises these components are okay. Do you have an oil pressure gauge or a light? You could get a manual gauge and remove the oil pressure sensor to check it manually. but if the light is not on or the oil pressure is up and the gauge the oil pump is okay, to check the camshaft and crankshaft you will need to remove the oil pan and valve cover to inspect the camshaft lobes and then remove the rod and main cap to check the crankshaft. Here are some guides to help get you started:
