After replacing the Timing belt, the engine seems like it has seized?

After changing my water pump, I also put a new timing belt on, now the motor seems like it has seized but it was running before I changed these parts. When I turn the timing pulley it will turn halfway back or down..

Hi,

Do not force it. This is an interference engine and internal damage can occur if the timing is off. That is what it sounds like is the issue.

I attached a pic below showing the timing mark alignment positions. Is that how it was placed before and after the timing belt was installed?

Let me know. Also, let me know if you tried cranking it with the starter or if you have only done it by hand,

Yes, the marks were aligned.

When you turn it, do you hear anything making contact when it stops? I ask because the timing would be the only cause unless there was internal damage prior to the repairs.

Let me know. Also, let me know if you used the starter or only turned it by hand.
