Trying to find out what I should set the timing to, and what procedures prior to this I should perform? (Unhook vacuum lines, etc.) It has been many years since last I did this.

I attached the specs and process from the manual on how to adjust timing. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks

I will more likely to in touch again, these diagrams have me more confused than before. I have a Chilton on the way in mail, but was hoping you guys could get me started quicker, like, 5 deg. Btdc. Or what. Set idle speed to what ever. Unplug auto advance vacuum line. Got to get a gauge to let me know what my idle speed is. Oh, my head is hurting. Lol

Haha. Totally understand. I wish setting timing was a little easier but unfortunately if we don't follow this process, it most likely won't come out correct.

Let me know what specific questions you have and we can work through it. Thanks
