One last thing, when I turn the wheel on the car it makes like ball bearings rolling around but it’s light and I hear the brakes scraping against the rotor, is that normal?

One tie rod boot is torn but the other isn’t but ik you your suppptk be able to pivot the tie rod joint but it’s not supposed to make a clunking noise like this is it.

Yes, if you twist the tie rod end it will make that noise, new tie rod ends make that noise as well. This is not to say if the tie rod is loose (play) it will make that noise as well so if that is any question replace it.

I’ll go ahead and replace it cause it hasn’t been done and it needs an alignment so they may say something so I’m go ahead and knock it while I’m doing the other side with torn boot and I can also move the tension struct at the bolt location by hand but on the other side i cannot.

Sounds good when it comes to steering it is best to be safe than sorry.

I can twist the tension struct by hand close to the bushing but on the other side I can’t.

Better replace it to be safe.
