Ticking in driver side dash area

It chimes now when I turn the car to on position. At first it was not. Once on it makes a ticking noise that's sounds like it's coming from the dash which it does through the entire ride. Then I got back in to come home and it hesitated to crank. Once home I tried it again. All chimes worked it cranked them cut off before I tried the A/C. Restarted and waited did not cut off. I just disconnected battery to reset. What's the ticking noise?

Hello,

Do all of your vents and temperature control for your vehicle's Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) work properly? If not, then I suspect that this could be an actuator for your HVAC system. Please get back to us with what you can find out, and we can go from there.

Great morning. Yes sir my air and heat is working fine. If there is a HVAC problem. That would cause my car to stop chiming when I put my keys in or hesitate when I try to crank it? I appreciate you so very much for helping. What else could it be?

Hello again,

My bad, I thought you were having HVAC issues. This sounds to me like you could have a problem with your vehicle's ignition switch. In the diagrams down below I have included the factory diagnostic troubleshooting guide for the ignition switch in your vehicle. This guide will require you to use a multi-meter, so I have also included a link below for you to go to if you are unfamiliar with how to use a altimeter.

Hello, Pep Boys saying it is my throttler body assembly? they said it need to be replaced. can it just be cleaned?
