My 94 Audi 90 front wheel drive was making some squealing when I pressed the clutch in. The slave and master were replaced a few months back before I purchased the car. So I thought it was just really nothing. Yesterday I noticed the clutch felt different and not ten minutes later the clutch pedal was pushed to the floor and didn't return. And I couldn't get it in gear. I tried to pull the pedal up with my hand but there was too much pressure. I'm thinking it's the throw out bearing. Any thoughts? I have a price on a new clutch kit that's around $279.00. What do you think labor would be?

The flat rate labor is 8 hours so you're probably up in the $700 range for labor. It sounds like you may also have another hydraulic issue with the pedal staying at the floor but it will have to be looked into because it could be the pressure plate doing that..
