I got the head gasket done on x trail now the Rev counter is rising sharply and going back down is the sensor or the throttle body I need to replace

try cleaning throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner then look for vacuum leak like a hose off /broken etc. then drive it see if it takes care of it. if not take it back to mechanic and have him fix it.
