I need the Initial throttle plate open setting in stop screw turns or thousands of an inch. I moved the throttle plate stop screw prior to getting an answer on idle speed adjustment.

Hi John,

Love the little dog, you want to put the screw inward just enough to crack open the throttle plate just off closed and you will be all set.

Ken,

It still idles too slow. I replaced the Throttle Position Sensor and the Idle Air Bypass Control, no improvement. Is there some trick to Adjusting the Idle Speed Upward to 650 to 700RPM without moving the Throttle Plate Stop Screw?

No not really it will set a check engine light. BTW can you run the codes to see if there are any?
