The other day I pulled out my driver way and my gas pedal was stiff and unable to accelerate I pushed hard on it and felt like a cable or nut snapped. I checked it out and the cable that goes to my air intake (the cable closets to the throttle body) works when I push my pedal but other cable (the cable beside the other one) is not moving and the engine dies once over 2000 rmp's (idles at 1000 rmp's), but the engine will accelerate when pushing both back by hand.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

If any cable is binding especially to throttle no matter which one it should be checked and fixed as it is dangerous to drive a car like that. We have no pictures of that. It may be throttle valve cable to transmission which would do what you are explaining. So you will have to check for binding of cables either at engine or transmission and repair it.
