Head straight to a tire and alignment shop to have the steering and suspension systems inspected. Ford has more trouble with parts separating leading to loss of control and crashes than most other manufacturers, so your car should be inspected at least once per year and anytime there's a new rattle, vibration, or noise. The people at the alignment shops are experts at finding the causes of these symptoms.
