I found a Chevy spark 2010 turbo charged by Torcon a Korean car tuning company Was wanting to buy it but I was concerned because here we have low octane petrol like 85 will that damage the car or could it run on that perfectly fine? Also was wondering if the turbo will make the car unreliable or consume more fuel.

The fuel should not be an issue since the engine has a knock sensor so it can run on any gas. The turbo is not an issue as far as mileage, the only thing I would look at is the turbo itself, with that many miles on it, it could be bad. I would check the endplay of the turbo cartridge.

Thanks for the reply, sounds good I was scared that the engine would have detention, pre ignition or even knock. About the turbo play I would have to at least remove the exhaust on the turbo end to check right? And finally would the car still be a reliable and fuel efficient after that turbo?

It is even more efficient with the turbo. Also, you can remove the air intake for the turbo to check it as well. Does the engine make noise when running? Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on.

Thanks for the videos. It looks like the engine sounds okay but I do see a check engine light on so I would look at that before buying it.

The guy mentioned that it's due to the o2 sensor not being there. As you can see in the picture there are 2 plugged holes.
