Dash lights flickering, back window door is opening on its own and alarm will not turn off

So it started out as just my dash was flickering, I thought maybe it was just a light bulb or something. But now my back window door is opening on its own and my alarm went off tonight and would not turn off no matter what I did. I know absolutely nothing about cars and I'm freaking out cause my neighbor said something about it catching on fire if we didn't unplug the battery.

Let's try this first. Since you might think it might have something to do with your alarm system let's try this security -anti-theft system reset first. Here is the tutorial to view:

It shouldn't catch fire so don't worry about that. I would try to clean the battery cables as well. here is a guide to help:
