Thick white smoke

Are you losing coolant? If the original leak was pretty severe, the exhaust system might be filled with coolant, and it just needs to burn off.

No coolant lose at all, does not overheat runs smooth and idles just fine but when revved even slightly the cloud is so that you cannot see anything being you. Just to add it has never leaked coolant, it just started doing this one morning when started. Did a forty six mile run the previous evening and was fine.

do you smell anything in the smoke, any strange smell? odd question, but is the brake fluid level correct? any deposits being left on the back of the car?

Yes, funny you should say about the smell, it does have a weird aroma to it and cannot say it is something that i recognize. just removed the exhaust manicat [manifold and catalytic converter] it looks thick with black oil although my level is not dropping even slightly. checked brake fluid and yes does appear to be rather low actually.

No deposits on rear of car either.

Brake fluid burns with a very white smote and an odd aroma. i did have a car once that was leaking brake fluid into the booster and the brake fluid was being drawn past the check valve at the booster vacuum hose. now this was once in over forty five years in the industry but why not check this out as a possible reason.

It does have the white brake fluid color to it now you mention it, when you say "booster" would that be the "servo" that the master cylinder attaches to?

Yes, pull the vacuum link from it to see if any fluid is present. This will confirm the failure let me know and I will send diagrams on how to change it.

Have you checked for any contaminants in the fuel? draw off a fuel sample into a clear container and let sit for a few hrs or over night and see if anything separates out, either solids or floating liquid on top or bottom

How weird, that is just what i am in the process of doing right now, will let you know my findings (if any) but hopefully just fuel
