I have a red oil light that came on, a check engine and the thermostat gauge is running hot after being on not even 10 minutes. Just had the fan relays fixed, before that I had the thermostat and the housing replaced and the radiator. Not sure if it’s a sensor or actually overheating.

So we need to start with checking codes to see if that points us to a possible cause. If not, then we need to use an infrared thermometer to determine if the engine is overheating. Check the hoses and around the engine block. It should not be more than about 210 degrees. If it is then the engine is actually overheating.

Let me know what the codes are and we can go from there. Thanks
