I found a device (theft warning Toyota 89730-AA010) in my car while cleaning it. I want to know where it is located and how to install back? Thanks

It has probably been disconnected due to a problem, with out seeing what else has been disconnected or removed i cannot really say. possibly a mechanic having a first hand look can tell you if the system has been terminated permanently. there will be some tell tail signs of alterations under the dash, but really what is needed is a first hand inspection to see what is going on.

on a left hand drive car it should be up behind the dash in behind the glove box closer to the centre console, but thinking about this, if the module is disconnected the car wont start...... it should also be linked into central locking, if this works there must be a module installed.i am wondering if it was replaced and someone forgot to take it out of the car? i have seen this before, replaced modules replaced and been left behind by mistake.
