Theft deterrent reset procedure

service theft light is on vehicle starts for a few seconds then stops. how do you reset the theft deterrent system on a push button ignition?

Good morning,

The light should out after about 5 seconds. That is a test to be sure the system is working correctly.

Does the car start and run?
