Leaving work today my check engine window on my dash displayed "dsc system fault" with a yellow caution light. The next time I tried to start my car, it does not even attempt to turn over. There is no reaction to the turning of my key in the ignition. How do I fix this?

Is there any noises when attempting to start the engine? Click or clicking?
DSC is related to the power train, suspension and traction control. Are you able to scan the vehicle's computer for any fault codes?
