In tech manual for this vehicle it asks to test circuits to ground. How do Ido this? It says disconnect pcm/tcm connectors and disconnect the tranny solenoid connector then test to ground. Do I need a jumper to ground on one side and then use multimeter to test to ground and the other side of wire?

Welcome to 2carpros.com

As far as testing to ground, you only need a multi meter to test for continuity. Both components will have their own ground even though they are disconnected. Therefore, check for continuity between the component and a known good ground.

Let me know what is going on or if you have other questions. I'm a bit confused with exactly what you are checking or checking for.

Take care,
Joe
