How to test the ECM?

Thanks. I was wondering if you can tell me on the truck listed above, if I could replace the cable coming from the ECM going to bank2 sensor 1. a cable coming from ECM to bank 2 sensor 1? I would like to replace it. How can i test my ECM on the truck? step by step. thank you

It is difficult to test the PCM, it is best to send it in to a rebuilder, they have the specialized equipment needed to do the job. You can get a preprogrammed unit by searching Google or Ebay. Yes, you can replace the wiring from the oxygen sensor to the PCM. Here are the wiring diagrams for the engine and oxygen sensor to help you. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
