I am trying to find out where the coolant temperature sensor is located at.

Where is the coolant temperature sensor located?

The coolant temperature sensor is located on the left front of the engine, behind the alternator. You will have to remove the alternator to access the sensor.
I have attached diagrams below for your reference.
