Dashboard gauges are saying that it is overheating and it is going back and forth but it is not stalling out or leaking out any where. Wondering if I should replace temperature sending unit first and then the thermostat or not?

Hello, I am Danny.

I have attached a picture of the coolant temperature sensor location. How long has it been since the thermostat has been replaced? Might be a good time to change antifreeze/coolant if it has been awhile as well. Since you will be losing antifreeze/coolant when replacing I would suggest doing both at same time to save time/money and only add coolant one time. I have attached a link showing how to drain/flush/and replace. Hope this helps and feel free to ask questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
