I’m measuring the temperature of my catalytic converters with a laser thermometer. How many degrees F difference/hotter should the rear of the converter than the front?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

The converter should be running around 500 degrees. You really shouldn't see more than 100 to 150 degree difference.

Let me know.
