Engine coolant leak?

Last year the heat was fine, now my truck won't heat up. The temperature gauge stays low but I'm losing water somewhere. It's not overheating as it's not running hot at all. I can't see where it's losing coolant at either. Truck runs fine aside from what I mentioned.

Hello,

This sounds like either your thermostat has been removed or your vehicle's heater core has been bypassed. An easy way to check to see if your vehicle's heater core has been bypassed is to look on the firewall and see if you can see two aluminum tubes sticking out of it with nothing hooked up to them. If there is then your vehicle's heater core has been bypassed because it is leaking and it will need to be replaced. If there are hoses going to them then your thermostat has been removed and will have to be replaced. Please get back to us with what you are able to find out and we will go from there.
