Temperature gauge stopped working

I changed the sensor out where is the sender located?

Hi,

The coolant temperature sensor screws into the intake manifold next to the thermostat housing. See pic below.

Is that the one that you replaced? If it is, disconnect the connector and turn the key to the run position. One of the wires to the sensor will be ground and the other will be a 5v reference signal from the PCM. Check for power. If there is power, check the opposite wire for continuity to ground.

See pic below. Also, is this a 5.2L V8? The 5.9L wasn't offered in this model year. I'm questioning it because they did have a 3.9L V6.

Hi,

That's interesting. A D150 is a full-size truck. In 1995, the half-ton full size was referred to as a 1500.

If you look below, those are my options. What are your thoughts?
